WHY LOCAL MATTERS

What You Get From a Dallas-Based MSP

A national managed services provider can deliver the work. A Dallas-based managed services provider can deliver it on Central time, on-site, with a delivery team you can meet in person. Both matter — and both are how we operate.

Two Dallas Offices

Headquartered at 8350 Meadow Rd, Suite 253, Dallas, with a secondary location at 17950 Preston Rd, Suite 260. On-site dispatch covers Dallas, Plano, Frisco, Fort Worth, Irving, Richardson, Addison, Carrollton, Las Colinas, Uptown, McKinney, Allen, and Lewisville.

Dallas Timezone Coverage

Helpdesk and engineering operate on Central time. P1 response, change windows, and after-hours coverage match your business day — not someone else's. No overnight handoffs to a region you've never met.

Dallas-Area Client Base

Our installed base sits in DFW — hospitality, financial services, healthcare, legal, and professional services firms inside Loop 12 and across the northern suburbs. Local references on request.

Written Scope, Published Tiers

Per-user tiers are published. SLAs are contractual. Onboarding is a fixed-fee project with a defined plan you see before you sign. No mystery-box pricing, no open-ended time-and-materials.

WHO WE HELP IN DALLAS-FORT WORTH

Four Common Dallas Engagement Scenarios

Growing Dallas firm, 1–3 IT staff

Your team handles tickets but needs deeper bench — security engineering, M365 architecture, vCIO. We co-manage with your existing IT lead and provide on-site backup when needed.

BEYOND STEADY STATE

Six Categories Quoted Separately

Industry-standard carve-outs — disclosed up front, quoted as fixed-bid against a written SOW. Steady-state operations stay in MRR; project work is project work.

New deployments and migrations

Standing up something new, or moving from one platform to another. Defined deliverable, defined start and finish.

Typical examples

  • Tenant migrations (M365 to M365, Google to M365, or vice versa)
  • M&A tenant merges and divestitures
  • Intune greenfield deployment, autopilot rollout, kiosk programs
  • New Dallas office build-outs, network refreshes, firewall replacements
  • Backup product implementations, SIEM onboarding

How it's priced

Fixed-bid against a written SOW, with milestone billing on multi-month projects.

Major redesigns of an existing platform

Re-architecting something you already run. Steady-state operations stay in MRR — the redesign itself is project work.

Typical examples

  • Conditional Access policy overhaul or zero-trust redesign
  • Active Directory to Entra ID consolidation
  • Network re-segmentation, VLAN cleanup, IP plan rework
  • Email security gateway swap (e.g., Proofpoint to Defender)
  • Purview / Information Protection label taxonomy rollout

How it's priced

Fixed-bid against a written SOW. Steady-state operation of the new design returns to MRR after go-live.

Incident response beyond a defined runbook

Confirmed breach, ransomware, business email compromise, insider investigations, or anything that crosses into legal hold or forensics.

Typical examples

  • Ransomware containment, eradication, and recovery
  • Business email compromise investigations
  • Forensic image collection and chain-of-custody work
  • Sustained P1 after-hours work outside the published SLA window
  • Data exfiltration assessments

How it's priced

Hourly at published incident-response rates with a documented retainer option. Routine helpdesk and ordinary P1 SLA response stay in MRR.

Hardware, licenses, and third-party services

Anything we buy on your behalf or anything you buy yourself that we operate. Goods are not service fees.

Typical examples

  • Workstations, servers, switches, firewalls, access points
  • Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace licenses (CSP)
  • EDR licenses (CrowdStrike Falcon Pro or equivalent)
  • Backup, phishing simulation, and DLP product subscriptions
  • ISP, MPLS, and SD-WAN circuits

How it's priced

Pass-through at vendor MSRP or your existing entitlement (BYOL). No hidden markup on hardware against the per-user rate.

On-site dispatch outside contracted scope

Truck rolls beyond what your tier or add-on includes. Most Managed customers do not need extensive on-site — when you do, it is scheduled and quoted.

Typical examples

  • Cabling pulls and structured wiring across DFW sites
  • Hardware refresh tours across multiple Dallas-area offices
  • After-hours physical equipment swaps
  • Conference room AV troubleshooting beyond remote support

How it's priced

Quoted as scheduled visits or via the On-Site Presence add-on. No surprise truck-roll fees — we agree on it before we drive.

Compliance audits and assessments

Defined assessments with defined deliverables. Operating a compliance program day-to-day is the Compliance Program add-on; the audits themselves are project work.

Typical examples

  • SOC 2 Type II readiness assessments
  • HIPAA risk assessments
  • PCI ROC support and gap assessments
  • IT due diligence for M&A buy-side or sell-side
  • Insurance-driven security control assessments

How it's priced

Fixed-bid against a written SOW. Includes the assessment, the report, and one round of findings remediation guidance.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Dallas Managed IT — FAQ

Do you offer on-site IT support in Dallas?+

Yes. Our two Dallas offices — 8350 Meadow Rd, Suite 253 (HQ) and 17950 Preston Rd, Suite 260 — dispatch on-site analysts across the DFW metroplex. Coverage includes Dallas, Plano, Frisco, Fort Worth, Irving, Richardson, Addison, Carrollton, Las Colinas, Uptown, McKinney, Allen, and Lewisville. Most issues resolve remotely; on-site is scheduled or covered through the On-Site Presence add-on.

What's published in your Dallas managed IT pricing?+

Four tiers, all per user per month: Standard $115, Advanced $165, Premier $215, and Enterprise (custom). Standard and Advanced require a 50-user floor; Premier requires 75; Enterprise targets 250+. EDR and license costs are pass-through at vendor MSRP. Onboarding is a fixed-fee project equal to one month of MRR.

Are you the same company as the national managed IT offering?+

Yes. Intras Cloud Services delivers the same Managed IT service nationally and from our Dallas offices. The Dallas page exists because most of our installed base is here, our delivery team is based here, and on-site dispatch is local. The tiers, SLAs, and inclusions are identical to the national offering.

Do you support both Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace?+

Yes. ICS is a Microsoft Solutions Partner and a Google Cloud Partner. Day-to-day administration of either platform — user lifecycle, license management, mailbox/Drive admin, MFA, identity operations — is included in every Managed IT tier. Project work like tenant migrations, Copilot rollouts, or Gemini for Workspace deployment is scoped separately.

How fast can a Dallas client get started?+

Onboarding kicks off within 1–2 weeks of signed proposal. The standard plan is 90 days: 30-day discovery and access, 30-day tooling and baseline, 30-day steady state and first QBR. SLAs are in full effect at day 61. Most Dallas onboardings complete inside 12 weeks because we can be on-site for cutover.

What industries do you focus on in Dallas?+

Hospitality, financial services, healthcare, legal, professional services, and growing technology firms — primarily 50 to 500 users. We are SOC 2 aligned and have operating experience with HIPAA, GLBA, and PCI DSS. Our Dallas client base reflects this mix, with several long-tenured engagements across DFW.

When will I see fees on top of my monthly per-user rate?+

Six categories of work sit outside steady-state operations and are quoted separately: (1) new deployments and migrations, (2) major redesigns of an existing platform, (3) incident response beyond a defined runbook, (4) hardware and license pass-throughs at vendor MSRP, (5) on-site dispatch outside contracted scope, and (6) compliance audits and assessments. We disclose all six in writing before you sign.
